The Office Typography Quote Posters…

The Office. The original UK version (not the American version that went a bit mental and has produced about seven thousand episodes) is literally my favourite comedy of all time. I have many friends who share the same opinion as me when it comes to this series. We could literally get through day to day life using The Office quotes to communicate with each other.

Anyway – With that said I felt like designing a couple of typographic posters using some of my favourite quotes. Filtering down all the quotes to find 2 of my favourite ones was a very difficult task. Having said that I boiled it down to the two that you see in this blog post and I really like the outcomes of them, both individually and as a collective pair.

The quotes are from the 1st Series, in Epsiode 5 when Tim is talking to Gareth about going back to University to get a degree. I really like how the pair of them play their parts so well here. As if they are reeling what first thoughts come to their heads. A very off-the-cuff comedy feel to it.

Anyway, I just designed these over the past 2 weeks whilst I had a bit of spare time between projects. They are just personal designs for me that Im going to print and whack on my wall, but if you like them and are interested in them give me a shout and we could discuss arrangements to get them printed and sent to you!

I may even decide to get 20 or so printed and put them up for sale. Just want to see the feedback on them first really.
